Eligibility: IAPA defines an individual of Indian Descent/Heritage as someone who was a citizen of India prior to coming to the USA or Canada, or if not a Citizen of India, at least one parent or grandparent is/was Citizen of India as defined by Government of India at any time in life. Physicians of Indian descent/heritage (as defined above) who have completed postgraduate residency and/or fellowship training in psychiatry and hold an active license to practice medicine in a state or province in the United States or Canada, or formerly held such an active license in good standing, and then retired. Exceptionally EC can approve a well-wishing Indian Origin/Heritage/Descent, Psychiatric Fellow or Psychiatric Resident who wants to join as General Member, if he/she has an active license to practice in the United State or Canada. The price for membership is $350.00
